How to use the WatchCar rankings
Start with the vehicle finder, then narrow the results by location, body type, budget, fuel, drivetrain, color or brand. Select a model to review its specifications, available trims and additional research options.
What the ranking tells you
- Sales rank: a simple way to see which models lead the current dataset.
- Filters: useful for shopping research when you already know your budget or preferred vehicle type.
- Vehicle details: specifications and trim information are presented as research aids, not as a substitute for a manufacturer window sticker.
Ranking methodology
WatchCar is designed around transparent, model-level comparisons. A production version should ingest monthly sales data from manufacturer reports, a licensed automotive data provider, or another verifiable source; normalize model names; then calculate rankings from the reported unit volume.
Important distinction
The demonstration dataset currently bundled in this HTML is for interface testing. It should not be presented as an official U.S. sales report until it is connected to a verifiable source and the publication date and methodology are shown on the page.
